We are excited to report that the 2010 Oregon Disability MegaConference held this past June in Eugene, Oregon, was a great success with 16 sponsors, 40 exhibitor/vendors, and 400 people attending, presenting, and exhibiting. We are pleased to announce that we have begun planning for our FOURTH annual conference to be held September 29 – October 1, 2011, at the Salem Conference Center! The purpose of the Oregon Disability MegaConference is to provide a cross-disability conference bringing people with disabilities, organizations, and service providers together to learn from each other as well as encourage a statewide dialogue on important shared issues. Together, across all disabilities, we are able to educate, empower, inspire and connect people with disabilities, their family members, and those who support them. This year we are excited that we will be focusing on technology during our pre-conference day on Thursday, September 29th as well as throughout the entire conference. We will have exhibitors and presenters from across the nation providing us with information and hands-on items that will assist individuals with disabilities and their care providers. We would like to invite our current sponsors in addition to potential new sponsors to join us in collaboration of the 2011 MegaConference. We need funders! We need you to play a part in the 2011 MegaConference! An Executive Committee has been formed to oversee the 2011 MegaConference and a Steering Committee consisting of conference chairpersons will be organized. Please review and fill out the attached forms and submit them as soon as possible. Committee selections will take place throughout June and work has begun. Should you have questions or need additional information, please contact Marcie Ingledue using the contact information listed below. 1745 State Street
